Business Systems/Operations Analyst

Spang & Company has an opening for a Business Systems/Operations Analyst at its headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will play a critical role in delivering successful solutions by partnering with business groups and IT staff to improve operational agility, optimize the use of the ERP system, and enhance Business Intelligence capabilities. The position will ensure that reporting is timely, accurate, and consistent for stakeholders across the organization.Through its three unique product lines, Spang & Company designs, produces, and supplies precision soft magnetic components and materials to the electronics industry and delivers custom-engineered solutions to the power industry. We take pride in our strong culture, exceptional employee retention, and collaborative team environment that enables high performers to thrive.Primary responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders, process specialists, and business groups to elicit and document requirements, translating non-technical requirements into technical business requirements, and recommending system and process improvements. This position will manage the configuration and setup of ERP and BI-related solutions, perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports and BI Solutions, and analyze system activity by assessing system utilization, employee productivity, and trends among key quality attributes.A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred. Candidates must have 5 -- 10 years of functional experience working with ERP systems and custom reporting/BI solutions.
