JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for an experienced Technician to workas part of our Electrical assembly team, splitting time between runninginduction tests in our lab and performing electrical assembly work inour manufacturing department. Work with an amazing team in our InductionProcess Engineering Center. Developing testing procedures for industrialprocesses using Induction magnetic technology. An ideal candidate mustbe good with their hands, be Electrically & mechanically inclined, haveexperience setting up and running with document processes andprocedures. This is a tremendous opportunity for one with an electricalbackground interested in learning about Metals Processing Technology.Primary Responsibilities Assembly of electrical components,subassemblies and final assemblies using bolts, soldering equipment(wire cutting, stripping, and crimping) Adjust, repair, or replaceelectrical/electronic component parts to correct defects and ensureconformance to specifications Running testing procedures using labequipment Creating testing fixtures for electrical experiments. CreatingProcess Documentation. Connection of wires/wire harnesses; prep andattachment of subassemblies Application of fasteners, decals/weatherstripping Measuring/marking/cutting/drilling/tapping Use of hoists,wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, power tools and hand tools Inspector test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for qualityassurance Participation in training sessions Assist in training ofcoworkers Other duties as directed Qualifications Experience in wiringand/or hi-pot stations ??????? Experience working with and measuringlive voltages. Experience in electrical department and/or equivalentelectrical assembly experience at another company Basic Mechanicalaptitude; able to read measuring devices (rulers, tape measures,squares, levels, verniers and formulas) Basic Math Skill Knowledge ofhand tools Read and comprehend mechanical/electricaldiagrams/prints/schematic drawings, work orders or reports to determinematerials requirements or assembly instructions Electrical/ElectricalAssembly experience Basic computer skills Education / Training / WorkEthic High school diploma or equivalent Ability to follow direction andwork in a team environment Must be regular in attendance and able andwilling to work a reasonable amount of overtime Essential PhysicalRequirements Ability to lift 40 pounds Ability to perform repetitivetasks involving long periods of standing/sitting, safe use of powertools.
