AssemblerJob SummaryWe are looking for an Assembler to join our Eljen team in Sweetwater, Texas! The Assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack according to specifications.Duties / ResponsibilitiesAssembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and other manufactured products according to directionsRead blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then build to those specificationsUses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasksMaintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when neededPeriodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisorPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills / AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or recordsAbility to read blueprints and schematicsDetail-oriented and consistentWorks well as a productive member of a teamAbility to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipmentAbility to follow instructionsBasic ability in mathematics, reading or writingEducation / ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasksMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a timeMust have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directedMust have excellent hand-eye coordinationAbility to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic componentsMust wear glove, ear, and eye protection as necessaryCompensation / BenefitsSalary is dependent upon experienceHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanCafeteria PlanPaid Time OffLMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
