Learn more at www.qtspackaging.com and www.cretexmedical.com.Sterilization Intern Ideal Candidate ProfileIf you are a motivated, energetic, and creative person interested in pursuing a career in Biology or Microbiology within medical device, QTS wants you as our Summer Sterilization Intern. This position will provide technical support focusing on Sterilization, Quality and Engineering projects. You will be assisting the Sterilization department with projects from scope definition through implementation. This position will be located on-site in Bloomington, MN, 40 hours a week for the summer 2026.Sterilization Intern Job SummaryProvide support for the sterilization and cleaning processing.Learn about and help support the environmental monitoring program.Learn about sterilization and cleaning experiments.Learn more about cleaning and validation processes and procedures.Learn more about and support different sterilization methods.Support projects within Sterilization and help with various sterilization and cleaning projects.Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve. Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.Sterilization Intern Skills and ExperienceEnrolled in a 2-year degree in a technical field, with an emphasis in Biology or Microbiology or related experience preferredMicrosoft Office proficiency required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a preference for those skilled in advanced functions (e.g., Visual Basic, ability to set up automations, etc.).Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and good organizational skills. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
