Bring your expertise to this great opportunity in (NCR)National Capitol RegionThis Serco opportunity supports the IT architecture for all DoD, Department of Defense government contracting in the NCR. As a prime contractor, Serco provides IT Infrastructure management throughout the NCR.You will lead a large team of IT Field Service, Cybersecurity, SMEs, Networking personnel, and other support personnel to collaborate closely with the customer for stable IT and Cloud environments.Our team manages multiple government contracts in cloud environments with providing Network administration, Help Desk, Cybersecurity and SME support for both the network and Engineering.In this role:You will apply your broad knowledge of IT and proven leadership skills in finance and cost management, and supplier management to field and sustain our current and future capabilities.You will be responsible for lifecycle management systems. You will be the contract focal point for Integrated Product PIN Support (IPINS).You will lead your team to provide high quality network and help desk support to our current and future organization. You will manage contract budgets and staffing. You will develop and manage customer and business partner relationships.You will be responsible for all program-level strategic planning and proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective actions.Other duties may be assigned. This position will report to a Director within the Business Units throughout all sectors.To be successful in this role, you will have:DOD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance which US Citizenship is required.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Management, or a related field related to the job description listed above.At least five (5) years’ experience in U.S. DoD IT management with relevant experience within the last three (3) years related to the job description listed above.At least five (5) years’ experience with business process optimization, strategic sourcing, supplier/subcontractor management, financial/cost management, field support, and readiness management.Active Project Management Professional (PMP, PMI-ACP) Certification or if you are in the process of obtaining your (PMP, PMI-ACP) within the next six months please add your ID number to your profile or list it on your resume to include your validation dates or date of scheduled exam.ITIL v3 Foundations Certification, please be able to provide your certification ID and your validation dates.Be willing to travel up to 50%.Additional desired experience and skills:Demonstrated effectiveness leading large teams to achieve project results throughout all business sectorsExperience supporting geographically diverse teams.Familiarity with IT technologies Familiarity with DoD Government contracts within the NCR Preferred or Additional desired experience, education, skills: Former Military experience is preferred.Benefits:assistance may be available.Visit the following link for more information about how Serco supports our VeteransIf you require an accommodation with the application process please email: call the HR Service Desk at 800-628-6458, option 1.
