Attendant Valet Parking

As a Valet attendant, you are a first and last impression for our guests. Your role is to deliver exceptional service while safely and efficiently parking guest vehicles. This position reports to the Director of Guest Services. Greet arriving and departing guests with courtesy and professionalismFollow all established valet procedures - open vehicle doors, provide valet tickets, identify the guest, document existing damage, maintain an accurate log of vehiclesSafely operate, park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely mannerAssist guests with luggage, directions etc. as neededAlways adhere to safe and lawful driving practices, prioritizing guests, pedestrian, and vehicle safetyAccurately and securely store guest keys and return at the time of departureConsistently deliver a level of service that exceeds expectationsBe knowledgeable about Seaport District shopping, dining and general points of interestRepresent the hotel with a positive attitude and professional attireFollow sustainability guidelines and practices related to Seaport’s sustainability programsCarry out any other duties which fall within the broad spirit, scope, and purpose of this job description and which are commensurate with the roleResponsible for practicing, managing, and promoting our Mission, Purpose and Values so that it becomes an intricate part of the everyday operation.Required Job Knowledge and SkillsValid Driver’s License and Clean Driving RecordOperate a wide variety of vehicles (standard transmission, electric, luxury / high-end / performance / specialty)Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, intermittent jogging/runningExperience:Previous valet experience preferred, preferably in an Upscale or Luxury propertyEducation:High School diploma, general education degree or international equivalent preferredLanguage Skills:Fluency with the English language is required (read, write, speak)Schedule RequirementsThe operations of Seaport are 24 hours a day 7 days a week, inclusive of all holidays. Therefore, your schedule must be flexible to meet the needs of the business accordingly.
