As a Barback, you would be responsible for assisting the bar staff. They must provide a consistent level of service that meets the standards and exceeds the expectations of the customer. They are also responsible for attaining the highest levels of hospitality, quality and product knowledge. They must maintain the bar and keep it neat and cleanedStock all beverage products as needed according to the bar layout and storage area specificationProduce all recipes to the specificationsProvide guests with hospitality while adhering to the company service standardsGenuinely interact with customersAdhere to daily side work lists and weekly maintenance programMaintain beverage product knowledgeActively participate in feedback regarding operational improvementsUphold product levels and freshness based on standardized par levelsEnsure seamless supply of products and glassware required at the barRetain overall awareness of product availability and quantityOversee maintenance and cleanliness of all bar production and seating areasAttend, as required, all beverage training meetingsWork in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow employees, set a positive exampleProvide the highest level of guest service to the hotel’s clientsMaintain professional attire and personal hygieneMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work areaRead, understand and follow all policies, procedures and practices as stated in the Employee HandbookImplement the hotel’s safety and emergency policies and procedures (i.e. evacuation, first aid, etc.) to include removing all safety hazards, following company’s OSHA program, safe lifting techniquesPromptly report substandard (unsafe) conditions to SupervisorPromptly report accidents, injuries, property damage or loss to SupervisorInform management promptly of any work-related problems or guest complaintsPromote the hotel through goodwill, courtesy and a positive attitudeAttend all scheduled training classes and meetingsContinue to learn and grow in your positionPerform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by managementProvide for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rulesAssist person(s) with a disabilityComply with all applicable federal, state and local laws ordinances as they apply to the hotel, guest and employeesDue to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotelHigh School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferredApplicant must be flexible to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
