Because great energy fuels great work.TheAssistant Showroom Warehouse Manager assists in directing the operation and activities of the Store Warehouse, Showroom and Housekeeping Departments, including:Works with Showroom Warehouse Manager in hiring, training, supervising, motivating and evaluating Store Warehouse, Showroom, Clearance, Enchanted Village and Housekeeping employeesEnsuring prompt and efficient receipt, storage, and delivery of merchandiseEnsuring maintenance of showroom appearance and equipmentManaging the shipping and receiving functions of the store warehouse and transferring of merchandise to ShowroomAssisting in the formulation and communicating an action plan for the flow of merchandise to the sales floorDeveloping and implementing departmental systems, procedures and reordering of suppliesThe qualified candidate must have:5-7 years of retail experience including warehouse, janitorial, and/or showroom3-5 years of supervisory experience in a retail environmentKnowledge of safety practices and OSHA lawsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsMust be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.Must be able to operate machinery up to heights of 35 to 40 feetProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Jordan’s Furniture is an EqualOpportunity Employer
