Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and support of IT systems, hardware, and software across the organization. This role involves hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and process development to enhance efficiency and user experience. Responsibilities: u2022 Upgrade and maintain property network infrastructure, including routers, modems, Wi-Fi extenders, and access points, to ensure stable and improved internet connections. u2022 Set up, configure, and deploy new IT equipment while providing users with clear guidance on software systems. u2022 Perform system troubleshooting and maintenance for onsite devices such as computers, routers, televisions, and other equipment. u2022 Research, recommend, and implement hardware and networking solutions to address technical challenges and improve system reliability. u2022 Document processes, develop training materials, and ensure employees are well-versed in company procedures and software systems. u2022 Collaborate with corporate team members to understand their software usage, workflows, and challenges, providing tailored IT support. u2022 Assist in learning and managing the administrative side of software systems, including Yardi, ePremium, and BlueMoon. u2022 Conduct video calls or site visits to assess office IT setups, ensuring all hardware and software are accounted for and functional. u2022 Manage Gmail administration and user accounts once proficiency in other systems and processes has been demonstrated. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in PC desktop workstation setup and maintenance. u2022 Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration. u2022 Strong knowledge of desktop hardware components and configurations. u2022 Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. u2022 Expertise in desktop imaging and software deployment. u2022 Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. u2022 Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues effectively. u2022 Experience in documenting processes and developing training resources.
