Senior Tax Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our team in Carlsbad, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing corporate tax compliance, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, and contributing to tax planning strategies. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will collaborate across departments and tackle complex tax challenges. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns along with supporting documentation. u2022 Calculate quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with applicable standards. u2022 Provide support during tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. u2022 Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax planning. u2022 Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to assess tax implications of organizational activities. u2022 Enhance tax processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. u2022 Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their potential impact on the company. u2022 Assist with transfer pricing documentation and manage intercompany transactions. u2022 Participate in special projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and tax planning initiatives. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably within a public accounting firm or corporate tax department. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws and regulations. u2022 Proficiency with tax provision software such as OneSource or Corptax. u2022 Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. u2022 Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. u2022 Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity.
