Payroll Specialist

Description Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our HR/Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and ensuring employee payroll inquiries are handled with professionalism and accuracy. This role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and experience with payroll systems. Responsibilities: + Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll for all employees + Maintain accurate payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations + Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits accurately + Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management + Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner + Assist with year-end processes, including W-2s and other tax filings + Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions + Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data and reporting Requirements Qualifications: + 2u20134 years of payroll processing experience + Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, UKG, Workday, or similar) + Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements + High level of confidentiality and attention to detail + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel + Strong organizational and time management skills Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
