Test and Balance Technician

Overview Pay: Wages based on skill set: Entry level: $21.00 - $24.00, Mid-Level: $35.00 - $37.00, Senior Level: $40.00 - $45.00 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicantu2019s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. This position is responsible for testing and balancing HVAC and exhaust equipment, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in such manner as to ensure optimal client relations. Responsibilities u2022 Working Safely and follow all protocols to remain safe while working in a chemical factory. Understand the basics that are required within the OSHA 10. u2022 Working closely with Experienced HVAC/EXHAUST Testing , Adjusting and Balancing Technicians in an automotive manufacturing facility. u2022 Maintaining System and equipment balance during new installations and the de-installation of old process equipment. u2022 Troubleshooting issues that come from designs not being able to be met on the air requirements of the process equipment. u2022 Working as a team and keeping each other accountable and safe. No one should go home in any other condition than equal to or better than when they arrived at work that day. u2022 Assists in emergencies as needed in the evening and / or weekends when the customer needs it. Qualifications u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 Must be a willing to become a Sheetmetal workers Union # 67 member. u2022 Must pass a drug screening (including THC) given to be able to be dispatched. u2022 Must pass a background check. services in the US, at a minimum, a criminal history check is required and must include (i) seven (7) years of applicable felony jurisdictions (including federal jurisdictions), (ii) five (5) years of applicable misdemeanor jurisdictions, and (iii) a u201cnationwideu201d type of a criminal history crosscheck. Jurisdictions checked must include those jurisdictions where CW/PV is known to have worked or resided in the last seven (7) years. A criminal history check must also be based on any relevant information (such as names or aliases), or jurisdictions discovered from an SSN Trace.
