We are seeking a proactiveTransportation Project Manager with the skills to help take our practiceto the next level in the delivery of highways, interchanges, localroads, roundabouts, trails / active transportation, bridges, and otherenriching and vital improvements.Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in preparation ofradio or television station program schedules and programs, such assports or news.This position will work remotely from the Ontario/Inland Empire, butwill be networked through our offices across the West Region with afocus on our offices in California.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this positionoffers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Project Governance: Clarify roles and responsibilities within theproject team and ensure project compliance with the organization'swider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures andprocesses.Portfolio Management: Plan and manage the delivery of projectswithin an area of professional expertise, using an appropriate projectmanagement methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes areachieved.Project Team Management: Lead large project teams (or multiplesmall- to medium-sized teams); define the project vision, communicatethe necessary outcomes, and provide guidance to achieve these outcomes;coordinate team actions across project activities; coordinate the flowof additional team members on and off the team, as needed; and build thecapability of the team through training, coaching, and mentoring.Project Risk and Issue Management: Manage identification of risks,issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project,escalating these matters where appropriate. Where necessary, develop,agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these concerns.Project Benefit Realization: Deliver baseline assessments andpost-implementation analyses to evaluate and track the realization ofbusiness benefits.Project Resource Management: Negotiate and manage deployment ofproject resource budgets, providing forecasts and presenting varianceswith narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effectiveutilization.Culture of Innovation: Drive a culture of innovation by creatingmultistakeholder solutions that boost creativity, innovation, andcollaboration across business units, such as idea generation platforms,jam sessions, and hackathons.Leadership and Direction: Communicate the actions needed toimplement the function's strategy and business plan within the team;explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision,and values; motivate people to commit to these and to do extraordinarythings to achieve local business goals.Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities byparticipating in assessment and development planning activities as wellas formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain externalprofessional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance andfulfill personal potential. Maintai an in-depth understanding oftechnology, external regulation, and industry best practices throughongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.Transformational Change Management: Manage projects or substantialworkstreams within a transformational change program, ensuringintegration with related projects; use structured change managementmethodologies to build acceptance of change and to embed desired cultureand behaviors.Stakeholder Management: Develop and implement stakeholder engagementplans for projects to identify relevant stakeholders, to developpositive stakeholder relationships, and to ensure that each stakeholderhas an appropriate share of voice.Project Scope Definition: Plan and lead the delivery of a range ofinformation gathering, analysis, and stakeholder consultation activitiesand specify, negotiate, and agree on project deliverables.Project Assurance: Manage the delivery of assurance reviews within aproject, enable the delivery of assurance reviews by independent thirdparties, and take a
