Job ID: 703742BR Date posted: Sep. 11, 2025 Description:The Lockheed Martin Space Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Engineering Aide Sr Spec to be part of a team in Courtland, AL producing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production operations.The role will require strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a this exciting role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:• Create and manage Production Order routers within Apriso/MPM Link• Develop, edit, and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure that all components and materials are accurately tracked and managed• Assist with special projects, including but not limited to: Part Kitting, Smart Torque Wrench implementation, MGSE Standard Operating Procedures, Shop Aid Tool developmentBasic Qualifications:• Experience with manufacturing engineering or manufacturing engineering technology• Knowledge of manufacturing principles and production line setup, launch and/or development• Familiarity with MES (manufacturing execution system)• Knowledge of manufacturing bill of materials, creation, edit, and/or maintenance• General understanding of how parts are stocked, kitted and consumed on the shop floor• Active secret clearanceDesired Skills:• Experience with MDA or missile defense programs• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent processes• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent tools (ERP/SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, Apriso, MPM Link, Windchill, PMP Database, etc)• Basic tooling, fixture, and equipment design experienceSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
