Reports to: IT Network SupervisorAbout the RoleWe're looking for a proactive and service-oriented IT Network Administrator to join our growing team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be the first line of support for technology-related issues impacting internal users at both our corporate office and retail locations. You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting our network infrastructure, hardware, and applications to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.If you're someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, has a passion for solving problems, and thrives in a collaborative environment, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in IT while supporting a high-impact, customer-focused business.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to internal customers at the corporate office and remote store locationsInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and peripheralsProactively monitor the Fleet Farm network to ensure optimal performance and uptimeAnalyze network monitoring results and resolve identified issues promptlySupport ongoing IT infrastructure projects to ensure stable and scalable systemsPerform daily network administration tasks such as log monitoring and switch configurationCollaborate with team members on small to medium-sized technical projectsFollow established policies and procedures in line with company goals and IT best practicesMaintain clear and professional communication with users and leadershipComplete other duties as assigned by the IT Manager and Senior ManagementWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; equivalent experience and education may be considered1-2 years of experience in a similar IT support or network administration roleStrong customer service and communication skills, both over the phone and in personWorking knowledge of Cisco networking equipment (Cisco certification is a plus)Familiarity with desktop firewalls and client VPN software is a bonusAbility to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsExperience delegating and managing contractorsExperience with vendor management in the areas of Critical Infrastructure (Server room power and cooling)Experience handling low voltage cabling and fiber optic cabling within ranging environmentsComfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us?At Fleet Farm, we're more than just a retailer-we're a trusted part of the communities we serve.
