Interfaces with Director, Purchasing, management, buyers, brokers, vendors, Information Technology personnel, customers, and has limited contact with other distributors. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Position Responsibilities:Create presentations, reports, forms, and spreadsheets as requested by managementdemonstrating intermediate to advanced computer skills.Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.Perform assigned duties efficiently to reduce spoilage and contributepositively to profit margin; works closely with the cooler Receiving Department on perishable item quality and inventory.Check quality of produce and ensure poor quality product is removed before customers purchase; ensuring proper rotation and quality of product on a daily basis.Break/repack full cases in a timely and efficient manner to reduce spoilage and lost inventory.Check for dating issues on a daily basis. Remove any short dated and/or product that does not meet quality expectations from inventory.Maintain accurate inventory counts.Special projects, as needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.
