Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $84,000.00/Yr. - USD $139,950.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.Delivering training programs and courses to Marines and their staffsProviding instruction on Marine Corps Program of Record (POR) systems and operational tacticsConducting hands-on training and assessmentsReviewing lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercises for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with TECOM instructional methodologyCoordinating with the academics officer and curriculum review boards to keep training synchronized with MAGTF-level aviation C2 doctrineEnsuring instruction aligns with current fleet requirements and integrates CAC2S, TBMCS, GCCS, C2PC/JTCW, MSS, and related aviation C2 toolsReviewing lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercises for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with TECOM instructional methodologyServing as primary subject matter expert (SME) for all aviation C2 systems taught within the courseConducting and evaluating practical exercises replicating real-world aviation C2 operations (air tasking orders, airspace control, joint operations integration)Liaising with fleet units, program managers, and Marine Corps Aviation representatives to ensure course content reflects current fielded systemsProviding input to manpower planning, billet requirements, and system acquisition efforts as they relate to aviation C2 trainingFILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD#LI-TF1Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or formal DoD TrainingSuccessful completion of a military or commercial basic instructor course such as Marine Corps Center for Learning and Faculty Development (CLFD) 'Facilitating Learning Experience Course' (FLEX), CLFD Designing Learning Experience Course (DLEX), Basic Instructor Course (BIC), a college certification course, or an equivalent alternative course10+ years of experience providing formal Period of Instructions (POIs) and supporting Aviation C2 training events5+ years of experience providing POI on Aviation C2 software, hardware, systems, and applicationsDemonstrated experience creating and maintaining POIs, lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercisesIn-depth understanding of air tasking orders, airspace control, joint operations integration, and MAGTF-level aviation C2 doctrineDemonstrated experience with the following systems: CAC2S, TBMCS, GCCS, C2PC/JTCW, and MSSExperience analyzing the effectiveness of training programs and operational plansExperience with Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education (ISD/SAT-E) methodologiesUnderstanding of Marine Corps Service Level Training Exercise Program (SLTE-P) standards and objectivesDemonstrated experience with O365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office SuitePossess a current DoD Secret security clearance5+ years of experience supporting MAGTF Operations Center Training Team (MOCTT) and/or MAGTF Integrated Systems Training Centers (MISTCs)Demonstrated experience creating and instructing POIs on the following systems: CAC2S, TBMCS, GCCS, C2PC/JTCW, and MSSPossess a Microsoft Office Specialist Master certificationActive duty USMC experience with USMC Aviation C2 systems and equipmentPossess a current CompTIA Security+ certificationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVELSomeScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
