WE ACCEPT ALL.Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. We are launching behavioral health services in Hancock County—and we’re looking for a dynamic, mission-driven leader to help build it from the ground up.This is not a typical leadership role. It’s a rare opportunity to:Be the first on the ground for Aspire Indiana Health in Hancock County, a new CMHC-designated regionHelp shape the future of local behavioral health services from the ground upBuild real relationships with health systems, courts, and community leadersServe as a local architect of a future Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) modelWork in a space where some things are still unknown, and help figure them outLead with creativity and compassion in a community-facing leadership roleCollaborate with a dynamic leadership team while owning the day-to-day in your regionMake a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and behavioral health challengesAspire needs a leader who is:Comfortable with ambiguity, energized by problem-solvingNaturally collaborative, relational, and rooted in community valuesReady to roll up their sleeves, and help others do the sameCommitted to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed careGrounded in behavioral health and excited about innovation both in terms of care delivery, and the development of partnerships in support of a connected system of careQualificationsRequired:Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a directly-related human service field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education highly preferred; Bachelor’s degreeRecognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of IndianaMinimum five (5) years of relevant experience, including at least three (3) years in a management roleExperience working with behavioral health, addiction or criminal justice partnersDeep commitment to community-based care and partnership-driven workPreferred:Experience with MRO, Recovery Works, or similar state-funded behavioral health programsFamiliarity with Medicaid, Social Security, criminal justice, and other public health systemsBackground in Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) settingsRecognized as an LCAC or LAC by the State of IndianaOther RequirementsDeep personal commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Aspire Indiana HealthStrong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalismMust be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team settingMust have excellent collaboration, supervisory, and soft skills, such as relationship-building, communications, listening, negotiation and diplomacyMust be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and the ability to problem solve and utilize critical thinking skillsMust be able to demonstrate the effective use of Aspire’s Electronic Health Record (EHR)Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlinesMust possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organizationMust have reliable transportation to oversee programming and/or attend trainings and/or meetingsBenefitsAspire prioritizes a work culture that takes care of employees not only at work but in their personal lives as well.
