This position isu003cbru003esenior level, providing oversight, and executing the tasks necessary for proper implementationu003cbru003eand management of steel erection related activities to assure job safety, quality and success foru003cbru003eprojects built in or around the Tulsa area.u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eu003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eEssential Job Functions:u003c/strongu003eu003cbru003e1. Comprehensive knowledge of methods in general construction practices.u003cbru003e2. Comprehensive knowledge of general construction practices, occupational hazards andu003cbru003esafety precautions of the metal building trade.u003cbru003e3. Enforces FSE, customer GC and/or project owner’s safety regulations and requirementsu003cbru003efor all construction activities.u003cbru003e4. Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are accurately followed.u003cbru003e5. Participates in pre-construction meetings.u003cbru003e6. Provides coordination and supervision of all FSE Tulsa employees and subcontractedu003cbru003efield labor.u003cbru003e7. The General Superintendent will manage all on-site Superintendents, who oversee on-siteu003cbru003eactivities including but not limited to safety, scheduling, quality control, site cleanliness,u003cbru003emonitoring, and contractor relations.u003cbru003e8. Maintains and monitors job schedule as to crew, material, equipment, and coordinatesu003cbru003erequirements with management, weekly.u003cbru003e9. Maintain project working schedules and develop detailed look ahead schedules for on-u003cbru003esite coordination.u003cbru003e10. Recommend corrective action should the project fall behind schedule, implement theu003cbru003eactions as required to minimize delay.u003cbru003e11. Maintains active contact with customer/GC to monitor customer satisfaction.u003cbru003e12. Schedule and assure delivery of materials to maintain schedule requirements.u003cbru003e13. Schedules sub-contractors when needed to maintain the schedule andu003cbru003ecoordinates/implements change-orders.u003cbru003e14. Ability to work directly and interact with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors,u003cbru003esuppliers, and office personnel.u003cbru003e15. Provides quality control support with onsite inspections to confirm compliance with latestu003cbru003eapproved drawings, supplemental instructions, submittals and shop drawings.u003cbru003e16. Responsible for schedule, quality and customer satisfaction of a particular project oru003cbru003emultiple projects.u003cbru003e17.
