Expediter

Location: Kenosha, WI, On-Site M-F, 8AM-5PMReview purchasing contracts related to the delivery of goods, arrange for just in time delivery, and meet strict deadlines. Control the shipment of parcels within a specific time frame.Confirm and process planned inventory transactions* Process purchase requisitions and order confirmations utilizing company approved processes*Expedite purchase orders from internal and external sources, including but not limited to, US and international suppliers and OE representatives* Monitor inventory to ensure optimal levels* Review, analyze, and correct invoice errors, working directly with suppliers to resolve discrepancies*Provide information regarding supplier performance*Recommend solutions to correct supplier delivery schedules*Assist Corporate Transportation and customs brokers with resolving issues on imports Participate in weekly OE Program meetings*Perform other special job related duties/projects as requested by management· Must possess strong communication skills· Good analytical and decision-making abilities· Positive and professional attitude· Data entry skills· Basic understanding of accounting procedures· Computer skills: demonstrated aptitude with MS Office applications · Self-starter with assertive style to work through job activities independently · Meets assigned deadlines · Ability to adapt to ever-changing work environment · Associate degree, equivalent, or one year of related experience Essential Functions Duties and responsibilities noted with an asterisk (*) are essential functions of the position.
