In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with your Technical Director and Project Managers to deliver critical marine infrastructure projects across North America.On a day-to-day basis you will:Perform tasks on projects requiring a broad and deep knowledge in the field of structural engineering and marine infrastructurePerform structural analysis and design including reinforced and pre-stressed concrete design, steel design, deep foundations, earth retaining structures, etc.Implement design best practices to ensure conformance with all applicable codes, standards, and client requirementsPrepare and review calculations for analysis along with preparing engineering reports and memorandaPrepares construction drawings and other documents, such as technical specificationsPerform construction administration activities along with performing site inspections and other tasks as required.Working closely with your manager, you will establish a plan for your growth and broaden your understanding while engaging in local and global tasks each day.Your Skills. To be effective in this position, you need advanced interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills as an effective collaborator.Furthermore, you should:Hold an M.S. or higher degree in Structural Engineering, along with a minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a professional setting as a structural engineer.
