The FormulationTechnician III mentors others in a variety of complex tasks undergeneral guidance and in accordance with the manufacturing instructionset inclusive of current GMP/ISO requirements and standards andfollowing all safety Guidelines of PCI. With general supervision, thetechnician performs all manufacturing operations including but notlimited to work functions in equipment prep, dispensing, dissolution,formulation, purification, and aseptic compounding activities forbiopharma and medical device products. The incumbent must possess theability to address non routine matters. Utilizes technical knowledge andexperience to resolve complex manufacturing problems. Monitors personnelinteraction to ensure proper behaviors. Escalates matters requiringresolution by management. Works with Master production records andstandard operating procedures. Trains and guides less experiencedpersonnel. Is a model of the Guardian values and behaviors. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, anindividual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The essential duties and responsibilities include the following butother duties may be assigned. Maintains and adheres to safe work habitsand all applicable PCI safety procedures and guidelines. Is proactive inidentifying safety risks and alerts management to take corrective actionTrains and mentors both peers and less experienced staff in theperformance of proper formulation techniques Has ownership for the dailyformulation activities to ensure all scheduled tasks/events arecompleted Is responsible for critical steps in the formulation processincluding but not limited to, lab setup and process flows, in-processtesting, API dissolution and final QS while ensuring safety, batchintegrity and prevention of errors that could lead to product and orfinical loss Troubleshoots and resolve problems with equipment orprocesses in the course of performing job duties Adheres to verbalinstructions and written procedures in operating production equipmentand performing processing steps; accurately completes appropriateproduction...
