You will join a team managing the lifecycle of infrastructure and security, enhancing IBM's cloud solutions to ensureenterprises achieve efficiency, security, and scalability in their cloud journey.About this teamThe Product Security Platform Partnerships team is composed of security engineers working to ensure HashiCorp delivers secure software to itscustomers. We work closely with product engineering teams at HashiCorp, enabling them to write secure code and embed security into thedevelopment processes. We are responsible for design review, threat modeling, and code review of new features, as well as vulnerabilitymanagement across our entire product portfolio. Your role and responsibilities We are looking for a Senior Product Security Engineer II to help scale our product security function, partnering closely with Research &Development teams to ensure that security is appropriately addressed across the HashiCorp suite of cloud, self-managed, and communityproducts.Security at HashiCorp is largely a remote team. While prior experience working remotely isn't required, we are looking for team members whoperform well given a high level of independence and this role, your responsibilities will include:u25cf Contribute to secure architecture and design of HashiCorp products, across our cloud, self-managed, and communityproduct portfolio.u25cf Work across various R&D teams to prioritize security features and bugs, and ensure implementation and mitigations.u25cf Monitor threats and vulnerabilities impacting HashiCorp products and services; triage reported vulnerabilities, identifymitigations and assess/communicate associated risk.u25cf Act as SME on multiple information security areas (e.g. security architecture, application security, threat modeling, etc.).u25cf Plan & execute security assessments (dynamic testing, static testing, code review, etc) and threat modeling of HashiCorpu2019s products,services, and associated cloud infrastructure.u25cf Assist in execution of 3rd-party audits, penetration tests, and bug bounty programs.u25cf Contribute to the development of security solutions across the product life-cycle, such as standalone security tools, CI/CD pipelineintegrations, product security features/fixes, etc.u25cf Contribute to the creation and delivery of security training.u25cf Research emerging attack vectors and techniques.This job can be performed from anywhere in the US Required technical and professional expertise u25cf 8-10+ Years of Security experience.u25cf Secure development practices, and integration into broader engineering activities.u25cf Security design / architecture and threat modeling.u25cf Product and service architectures in modern, multi-tenant cloud environments (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).u25cf Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).u25cf Secure operations practices, specifically in cloud environments.u25cf Authentication and Identity management (e.g. SAML, SSO, OIDC, SCIM, etc) security best practices.u25cf Application and infrastructure security testing methodologies and tools.u25cf Vulnerabilities (old and new), and options for defense / mitigation.u25cf Product vulnerability management lifecycle.u25cf Working with and/or supporting product engineering teams.u25cf Security audits, penetration tests, and/or bug bounty programs.u25cf Cryptography and cryptographic primitives.u25cf Strong written and verbal communication skills.
