Business Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis fully remote. This role involves collaborating with legal professionals and multidisciplinary teams to provide economic consulting services, ensuring accurate assessment of damages and losses in various cases. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with exceptional communication skills to support both settlement and trial outcomes. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct detailed economic analysis to quantify damages or losses in cases of injury, neglect, or wrongdoing. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to provide expert insights and defensible estimates. u2022 Draft and review research documents, analyze complex calculations, and summarize findings for client presentations. u2022 Utilize advanced Excel functions, including macros, for data manipulation and analysis. u2022 Engage with clients to deliver clear and effective presentations on findings and recommendations. u2022 Perform manual and market research to support case preparation and economic assessments. u2022 Develop and refine business proposals to align with client needs and case objectives. u2022 Work in an Agile environment to identify gaps and propose actionable solutions. u2022 Provide expert witness testimony when required, ensuring thorough preparation and precise delivery. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in business analysis with a focus on economic consulting or related fields. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with macros and complex formulas. u2022 Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word for drafting and analyzing documents. u2022 Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and calculations. u2022 Excellent communication and client engagement abilities, both written and verbal. u2022 Experience in market research and document review to support economic analysis. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. u2022 Background in Agile methodologies and gap analysis is a plus.
