JOB REQUIREMENTS: Join IMEG as a Mechanical Engineering Intern inMadison, WI and build your future with real-world project experience.Over 10-12 weeks, you'll contribute to the analysis, design, andimplementation oversight of mechanical systems for a variety of verticalbuilding projects. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, managetasks within project budgets, and see how your efforts directly supportclient goals-while gaining the skills, knowledge, and professionalnetwork to launch your mechanical engineering career. PrincipalResponsibilities Assist in designing discipline-specific systems percode and IMEG standards Research commercially available equipmentSupport client relations, maintain project design notebooks, and preparepermanent record documentation Coordinate design and schedules withother disciplines and suppliers Document design decisions, meetings, andclient instructions while tracking progress Review project documents foraccuracy and completeness before final checks Prepare and issue addenduminformation Conduct job site observations and perform services percontract requirements Required Qualifications and Skills Completed atleast 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in MechanicalEngineering, or equivalent required Prior internship experience in thebuilding design consulting industry preferred Strong interest in designconsulting Proficient with MS Office Suite including, but not limitedto, Word, Excel, and Outlook Skilled in AutoCAD and/or BuildingInformation Modeling (BIM) software Ability to clearly communicate inboth oral and written communication to individuals or groups Thisposition is not eligible for sponsorship.
