The SrSystem Engineer Managed Services supports business solutions. Thepurpose of this role is to develop business software solutions forcomplex and large-scale projects through object and data modeling,database design, programming, quality assurance, and implementationsupport. The Sr System Engineer participates in application standardsdevelopment and serves as an evangelist for best practices. What youWill Do: Perform all stages of the infrastructure developmentlifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development,testing, and deployment. Lead development of automation solutions andconfiguration frameworks using Ansible and Python to supportprovisioning, compliance enforcement, and patching workflows. Developdetailed estimates for platform improvements and participate in capacityplanning, performance analysis, and optimization efforts. Collaboratewith project managers, architects, and stakeholders to determinerequirements, estimate work, and deliver solutions aligned with platformroadmaps. Define and implement CI/CD pipelines and automationstrategies for deploying infrastructure-as-code, system updates, andplatform configurations. Lead and develop high-level systemnarratives, storyboards, and user interface prototypes. Write andmaintain documentation, system narratives, workflow diagrams, and userguides to support repeatable automation processes and onboarding of teammembers. Lead and develop system test plans, ensure software qualityassurance (SQA) standards are achieved, and validate that business goalsare accomplished. Contribute to solution architecture and internaltooling decisions that balance security, cost, performance, andoperational simplicity. Ensure software quality by conducting codereviews, writing unit and integration tests, and enforcing adherence toCDW's infrastructure coding standards. Identify issues that requiremore attention, and work to resolve issues based on an understanding ofthe business problem being solved.
