Child life specialist, pediatric nutritionists, and physical therapists The role of a pediatric hospitalist at EIRMC includes caring for medical patients on the Pediatric Unit, consulting on pediatric patients in the emergency department, consulting on surgical patients, and caring for newborn infants who do not require NICU-level care.The staff are very in-tuned with delivering care within a family-center environment.Additional Opportunities for Advancement & ResearchEIRMC has an active family medicine residency with residents rotating through the inpatient pediatric and newborn care services.
