Machine Operator- Print & Bindery Experience

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery, with a focus on print advertising and graphic design processes. Can also perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and train others on specific equipment.The Machine Operator will be responsible for independently performing and managing with the following capability and objectives:Read and interpret job instructions prior to machine set-upSet up and operate production machines following procedures and guidelinesPerform quality checks and monitor productivity numbers during the production run and adjust machine settings as requiredManage set-ups and change-overs, per specificationsEffectively problem-solve under pressureComplete machine /line clearance at the end of each production run and 5-S Lean disciplines at the end of each shiftUnderstand and support production quality and/or minor repairs on machinery to further these objectives.Read and interpret machine and safety instructionsWork effectively in a dynamic production environment and embrace a positive teamwork approachWork together with the machine maintenance teamPursue cross-training and skill development on multiple machines and operate machines as assigned.Other duties as assignedWhat skills you will need:Print and Bindery Operator experienceIndependent problem solving skill.Strong communication skillsAttention to detail and able to collect and report variable data during production operation.Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.Working knowledge of Project Ticket procedural requirements, documentation, and closure steps.Applicable machine computer skillsAbility to understand and meet customer (internal and external) expectationsAbility to set up and maintain accurate placement of inkjet text at designated print positionAbility to pass OJT qualification review check after each machine operation procedural training steps are complete.
