Production Maintenance Technician

​​​​The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and equipment in the Cookie and Wafer Production Facility. The role involved performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, implementing repairs to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. The technician will work closely with the production team to support ongoing operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.​​​Support, installation, rebuild and maintenance of all production equipment such as baking ovens, conveyor systems, and a variety of packaging and support equipmentPerform routine preventative maintenance per a set schedule as well as respond to unscheduled repairs in a safe and timely mannerPrepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runsRead and interpret equipment manuals and work ordersPerform other duties as directed by supervisorThis position involves regular bending, stooping, twisting, and liftingMust be able to work all shifts in a seven day a week rotationMust be able to perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervisionMust exhibit excellent interpersonal skillsMust maintain a high degree of forklift operation skillsMust be able to regularly; lift up to 75lbs, have full use of arms and legs and climb stairs to access all areas of the plant and offices.Required to stand on their feet and/ or walk up to 12 hours per dayMust be able to detect audible tones and alarmsFrequently communicate with coworkers in long and short distancesMust be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingMust be able to accurately take instructions and keep recordsMust be able to demonstrate ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systemsMust have demonstrated good work habits and attendanceMust be able to demonstrate a good Electro-Mechanical aptitude and have strong multitasks abilityA minimum of three years of experience in a related field or comparable educationWelding experience a plusPLC experience a plusMust have sufficient hand tools required to perform duties of the Production Maintenance TechnicianStarting from USD $25.99/Hr.
