Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Deck Electricians for projects located in and aroundNewport News, VA.This is a firsts hift opportunity with a pay range ofup to $37.31/hourbased on experience plus$140/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.If you are a Marine Deck Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Use electrical meters and test instruments (voltohm meters, clamp-on ammeters, insulation resistance testers, meggers, etc.)Lay off and mount electrical equipment and wirewaysInstall cable penetrations in equipment, bulkheads, and decksInstall cables, make terminations, perform cutting and hookupRequirements:Minimum of 3+ years in the electrical field (Industrial, Marine, or Commercial Nuclear applications)Active DOD clearance requiredAbility to read and interpret shipboard electrical installation drawings, wiring tables, schematics, and work packagesAble to work independently with proper instructionPhysically able to: climb vertical/inclined ladders, crawl, bend, stoop, work at heights, and work in confined spacesMust pass Stud Shooting training class and associated vision test (administered by NNS)Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
