Outstanding customer service, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills are critical to the success of this position.The Senior Technical Support Engineer reports directly to the Manager of IT and supports all employees throughout the offices and project sites. The Senior Technical Support Engineer will primarily work in the Janesville office but will also visit jobsites in the Janesville area.Ensure that the intent of Cullen policies, procedures and quality standards is followed in accordance with company policyMaintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes a collaborative and cohesive environmentProvide support to technology users, employing a high degree of customer service, patience, problem management, technical expertise, critical thinking and timelinessDevelop support methods and attend training sessions on an ongoing basis to maintain and improve skillsAdhere to established industry standards in the technology fieldCreate documentation to assist with future technology problem resolutionAssist with network and server related projects and initiativesPerform additional assignments as requested by supervisor/managerConsidered the team lead for the Technical Support Engineers providing guidance and supportProvide support and direction for team for main office computers, mobile devices, and networksProvide support all IT related hardware and system at job sitesTroubleshoot and maintain Windows OS and related softwareSet team standards, policies, procedures for day-to-day activitiesAt least an Associate degree in MIS, Computer Science or related area and 3-5 years of technical support or helpdesk experienceBoth critical thinking and reasoning skills related to technology and its useWorking knowledge of Windows, M365, Azure, User management, device managementKnowledge of workstation and mobile device hardware and softwareBasic networking skills and the setup of networks and WIFIProject and time management skills and the ability to prioritize work based on business needTeam building and team management skillsM365AzureWindowsWorkstation hardware maintenance and troubleshootingSoftware maintenance and troubleshootingTechnical Project ManagementJP Cullen has a commitment to its community, employees, and employees’ families.
