Duties include but are not limited to:Provide strong leadership to our aide team. Mentor and develop aide staff, provide ongoing training and education to enhance their skills and knowledgeOversee the day-to-day operations of our aide staff. Responsible for overseeing the creation, management and maintenance of schedules for aides in conjunction with the aide coordinatorEnsure that charting is completed by all aidesImplement policies, procedures, and best practices for operationsSupport, build, and sustain a diverse team who successfully and consistently deliver on objectives and goalsAbility to communicate clearly, establish and maintain effective relationships with team members to problem solve in an educational and cooperative mannerDocument actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and recordsProtect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related lawsAdhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirementsUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; and maintaining licensureCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice with one year of experience under licenseCurrent CPR CertificationAt least 1 year experience in leadership requiredPrevious hospice experience preferredPrevious experience as a CNA preferredWorks well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team.Can work independently and on your own from a day-to-day basis with activities which include: phone, email and written communication, meetings with a variety of healthcare professionals, and an understanding of hospice rules and regulations.Ability to learn an electronic medical records system.Reliable Transportation, Driver's License, Car insurance
