For those looking to make a difference and find a professional home, Wipfli offers a career-defining opportunity.Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for assigned clientsAssist with complex general ledgers, identifying missing transactions and trends to ensure overall accuracyGuide the review and approval of account classificationsReview balance sheets for accuracy and facilitate follow-upCoordinate project tasks to ensure efficient client workflowPrepare and/or review the initial draft of monthly reporting packages, including KPIs/metricsPrepare and finalize month-end closeMaintain and update the client procedure manual to ensure appropriate process documentationPrepare and/or review work papers and schedules to ensure completeness and accuracyParticipate in cross-collaboration with other firm service lines, as applicableAssist in estimating and managing work assignments of accountants to meet client needs and budget constraintsAssist in the development of best practicesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA certification preferred but not requiredMinimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and general ledger managementExperience in the commercial real estate industry is preferredStrong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to project manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesEstella Anderson, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
