For more information, please visit our webpage at milauskas-eye.comThe OR Nurse, under the immediate supervision of the Operating Room Clinical Coordinator, is responsible for the safety of the patients while in the OR and assists with the supervision of nonprofessional personnel in the unit.Collects, interprets, records, and communicates pertinent data that are relative to the patient’s care in surgeryUtilizes data collected to plan for intra-operativenursing careAssumes responsibility and accountability for the safety and administration of quality care to each patient to meet their physical, psychological, and psychosocial needsContinuously evaluates the patient’s response to nursing interventions and modifies the plan of care to achieve desired outcomesSupervises and directs patient care in an individual operating roomProvides guidance and supervision to ancillary nursing staffOther duties as assignedNew hire training on all systems and office practicesTraining support and communication of all ASC informationProficient inall ASCoperationsGraduate of accredited school of nursingStatelicensure as Registered Nurse required.Knowledge and experience in peri-operativecare of the surgical patient in ambulatory surgeryBLS, ACLS qualifiedAbility to handle stressful work environment; comfortable performing a variety of projects in conjunction with normal activitiesOrganization and problem-solving skills, proficient with Microsoft applicationAbility to read and interpret documents such as doctor’s notesExcellent Customer ServiceSelf-StarterProfessional Leadership SkillsIn Turn We Will Provide:Benefits to full time team members that include comprehensive medical, dental and optical coverage, 401K and short and long term disabilityCompany paid life insurancePaid holidays and generous paid time offPaid parking where applicableTeam oriented working environment where you are heard and respectedClear career ladder opportunitiesOffered pay range $50/Hr-$54/Hr. dependent upon experience#ESP2
