We welcome applicants who are Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), or Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs). The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, support providers with clinical tasks and procedures, and help ensure efficient daily clinic operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a patient-focused, team-oriented setting with UnityPoint Clinics!Greet and room patients; obtain vital signs, medical histories, and reason for visitAdminister medications and vaccinations as ordered by the providerAssist with in-office procedures and examsAccurately document all patient interactions and treatments in the electronic medical record (EMR)Provide patient education on medications, care plans, and health promotionEnsure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for useSupport the provider team in delivering coordinated, high-quality carePerform basic clerical tasks such as scheduling, call-backs, and managing referralsValid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as one of the following:Registered Nurse (RN) - Iowa Board of NursingLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Iowa Board of NursingCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) - accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, NHA or AMT)BLS (Basic Life Support) certificationPrior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferredStrong communication and critical thinking skillsFamiliarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, etc.) and basic computer skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
