Job Description

Provide exceptional credit support to the Commercial Lending team, Credit Manager and Credit Officers by preparing analyses and assistance in preparation of credit approval presentations.Work with other Credit Analyst, Credit Portfolio Manager, Credit Manager, Credit Officer, and CCO to ensure consistent and accurate credit analysis and loan presentations.Complete Financial Statement spreads.Prepare analysis of less complex loan requests, reviews and renewals. Conduct industry and market analysis.Provide support and analysis to the Special Assets Group as needed.ComplianceComply with all applicable regulations and Bank policies regarding employment and employment law.Participate in annual compliance and other job-related training.Comply with applicable bank regulations, Bank policies and procedures. Comply with Bank’s internal privacy and ethics standards.Relationships and ContactsInternal: Daily contact with Credit Analysts, CM, CO, Commercial Lenders, CCO, and Loan Administrative Assistants.External: Occasional contact with borrowers, accountants and loan review.BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferredCompletion of a formal Credit Training program, or the ability to complete one within 12 months of hire, or equivalent experience. Skills and CompetenciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, punctuality, attitude, and grammar. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, with prior knowledge of financial statements and accounting principlesAn ability to balance priorities and exhibit organizational skills to manage both individual and multiple team prioritiesMust be proficient with MS Office software and be able to quickly master the bank's technology and systemsAbility to interact effectively with other bank personnel across functional lines.Ability to articulate bank strategies and customer service philosophy Strong written, verbal and presentation skillsExcellent decision-making skillsAbility to multi-task in highly demanding environmentEfficient, high quality producer, with attention to detail Good judgment and analytical skills with the ability to remain focused & work independentlyMust be able to process constructive feedback & remain even temperedAbility to drive, with a valid driver’s license, to travel between offices and/or attend sales calls and customer visits.Working ConditionsTraditional office environment with the ability to work remotely on a hybrid basis; the office maintains five day a week operations (Monday - Friday) with operational hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be willing to travel to other Bank locations as needed.
