Plant Manager

Job Description u2022 Manage and direct all plant operations, including production, logistics, maintenance, and quality control. Develop and execute strategies to optimize productivity and meet production targets. u2022 Develop, manage, and monitor the plantu2019s budget. Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards. u2022 Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and employees. Conduct performance reviews, manage staffing, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment. u2022 Implement and champion continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. u2022 Oversee the quality control process to ensure all products meet engineering specifications and industry standards, such as those from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the American Welding Society (AWS). u2022 Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery, including welders, saws, and cranes, is well-maintained and operating at peak performance. u2022 Serve as the primary point of contact between plant operations and senior management. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), production output, and financial performance. Champion a strong safety culture and ensure strict adherence to all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards. Lead safety initiatives and conduct regular audits. Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and other production management tools.
