Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Berkeley, California. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting litigation efforts and ensuring the seamless management of legal processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are met accurately. u2022 Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts electronically. u2022 Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other essential documents. u2022 Conduct discovery processes, including gathering and organizing relevant information. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys on trial preparation and case strategy. u2022 Utilize case management software to maintain organized records and workflows. u2022 Assist in the review and analysis of employment law matters. u2022 Provide administrative support to attorneys during court proceedings and meetings. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation support. u2022 Strong understanding of discovery processes and civil litigation procedures. u2022 Proficiency in trial preparation and the use of case management software. u2022 Familiarity with e-filing procedures for both state and federal courts. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle complex cases. u2022 Knowledge of employment law is a plus. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
