This position manages advanced engineering, architectural, or construction projects, providing leadership in planning, oversight and compliance with state and federal regulations. Oversees projects objectives, ensures quality assurance/quality control, and maintains project integrity. Work requires extensive contact with agency management, governmental officials and private entities. Employees at this level are virtually self -supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product.Essential Duties:Complies and distributes project information, status reports and project budgets. Will be a liaison for Construction Quality coordination With the District and Area Office Design staff.Coordinates project activities with other state agencies, governmental entities or private partners. Coordinates with Area office on professional services needs and effectively communicates with Consultant partners.Creates documentation procedures to capture and deal with changes in original project plan.Directs, develops, implements, and evaluates project budgets, schedules, work plans, resources requirements, and cost estimates and projections.Collects and Manages all CEI PEPs contract executions including ICNs, BCMs, Contract Execution and WA /SWA Agreements. Tracks PEPs schedules to ensure project level agreements are executed in a timely manner.Performs other job responsibilities as assigned. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
