Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting operational efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform comprehensive account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Supervise contract staff and provide guidance to maintain workflow standards. u2022 Coordinate audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and collaborating with auditors. u2022 Handle financial transactions, including debits and credits, with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Conduct recovery audits to identify errors and implement corrective measures. u2022 Manage special projects aimed at improving financial processes and reporting. u2022 Prepare and file 1099 forms in compliance with regulatory guidelines. u2022 Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. u2022 Analyze and report metrics to provide insights into system performance and financial outcomes. u2022 Develop and present KPI reports to support strategic decision-making. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and account reconciliation. u2022 Proficiency in coding invoices and performing check runs. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial data and identify trends. u2022 Familiarity with reporting tools and KPI analysis. u2022 Knowledge of 1099 preparation and filing requirements. u2022 Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and streamline workflows. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing audits and special projects. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
