Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. Responsibilities: * Perform and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion * Assist in developing and improving reconciliation, reporting, and review processes from the ground up * Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as part of the monthly close * Support financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP * Partner with AP/AR teams to resolve reconciliation issues and ensure accurate reporting * Identify and investigate variances, errors, and unusual items, escalating as needed * Collaborate cross-functionally (Purchasing, Operations, etc.) to resolve discrepancies and explain accounting impacts in clear terms * Maintain schedules to support external audits and provide audit documentation as required * Use Excel to analyze data, create schedules, and streamline reporting (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.) * Support process improvement initiatives and help implement accounting best practices * Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with the ability to prioritize competing tasks Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) * 4+ years of general accounting experience * 1+ years of public accounting experience is a plus * Experience in a multi-location/franchise environment is a plus * Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage X3, or similar) * Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines * A proactive, team-player mindset with great communication skills Why Join Us: * Competitive salary * Health, dental, and vision benefits * 401(k) * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding fitness brand * A passionate and purpose-driven culture that supports work-life balance
