Our goal is to create a performance-based culture staffed with highly motivated and satisfied employees.About This Position: Responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, relocation and removal of all equipment and facilities mechanical systems based on the highest safety, quality standards and best practices in the steel service industry.Job Type: Full Time, Onsite, Vancouver, WashingtonSchedule: Monday - Friday, day shift for training, once complete this will be a swing or third shift position.Starting Wage: $21.25 to 31.05, depending on experience, plus $1.25 to $2.00 an hour shift differential.Major Duties: Troubleshoot, repair and lubricate machines and equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on facility and production stall, dismantle, clean, reassemble, and move production machinery. Perform fluid mechanic repairs (hydraulic and pneumatic). Performance and Documentation of Preventative Maintenance on production equipment.Read blueprints and schematics to determine repair procedures. Basic knowledge of industrial electrical principles and controls.Maintain all building mechanicals, utilities and HVAC systems.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GEDCandidates must have 3-5 years of production maintenance experience Overhead crane repair experience is a plus Strong working knowledge of machinery, mechanics, plumbing, welding, pneumatic and hydraulic systems CAD experience a plusIn-depth knowledge of mechanical drive components including bearings, bushings, seals, gears, and belt/chain drives.Must be able to work safely and rationally with heights (such as with overhead cranes)Current Valid Drivers License is requiredEffectively follow repair manuals, blueprints, diagrams, to make appropriate repairsMust respond and follow oral and written instructions timely and accuratelyMust work in a team environment or unaccompaniedBenefitsBenefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD, FSA, HRA, HSA, EAP, company paid Life Insurance & STD, and 401K with 3.5% MatchWe offer full benefits with options to suit everyoneQuarterly incentive based safety goals Tuition reimbursement and career development opportunitiesAs a condition of employment, all applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
