Join the team today!If you're passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a supportive, purpose-driven team, wed love to meet you.What Youll DoAs a Maintenance & Engineering Assistant, youll work closely with our Director of Engineering to support daily maintenance operations, ensure high standards for safety and cleanliness, and contribute to the overall comfort of our residents.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repair work in resident apartments and common areasPrepare vacant units for new residents (painting, minor repairs, carpet care)Assist in maintaining community grounds and outdoor spacesServe as a back-up driver for resident transportation (including wheelchair assistance as needed)Support setup/cleanup for special events and community activitiesMaintain community vehicles and tools; report and document maintenance issuesUphold all safety protocols, health regulations, and resident rights at all timesWhat Were Looking ForRequired:1+ year experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or landscapingBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repairsCompassion for seniors and desire to work in a service-focused environmentStrong communication, organizational, and customer service skillsValid drivers license and clean driving recordAbility to lift, move, and perform physical duties as requiredPreferred:Experience in senior living or healthcare settingsCPR/First Aid & Food Handlers Certification (or willingness to obtain)Familiarity with Microsoft Word and ExcelGroundskeeping experience and/or landscape maintenance skills a plusPerks & BenefitsCompetitive pay starting at $21/hourFull benefits package including health, dental, vision & life insurancePaid time off & holiday payRetirement plan optionsOngoing training & education opportunitiesWarm, inclusive community cultureExplore more about our benefits here:
