With a shared desire to give back, grow the community, and do great work, the Set of X team is building an elite group of engineers with a strong sense of shared responsibility and ownership.Because who you work with matters.________________________________________________________________________ Responsibilities:Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms.Generate test cases based on defined requirements and product functionality.Perform baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts.Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner.Create test documents such as test plans, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports, and provide analysis of test procedures.Required:5+ years of experience with being a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results in while performing system testing of complex systemsStrong Python experienceExperience with using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data setsExperience with integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test bedsExperience with creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and analysis of proceduresAbility to manage discrepancy reports identified during testingAbility to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methodsAbility to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues, and perform baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development effortsDesired:Knowledge of Jenkins or other Continuous Integration FrameworksKnowledge of PyTest automation frameworksKnowledge of SPLUNKKnowledge of working in a Linux environmentKnowledge of working in an Agile environmentClearance:TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
