If you're a team player with a passion for innovation and a track record in program development and staff supervision, we invite you to embark on this rewarding journey with us.What will I do every day?Develop and promote a variety of group and individual Wellness programsManage resident risk through functional assessments and resident lifestyle assessmentsOversee the publication of a Wellness calendar and newsletterImplement and manage an effective transportation programEstablish and manage a volunteer programConduct departmental planning and forecastingEnsure an effective staffing scheduleManage the wellness budget expenses and labor costsHire and train new members of the wellness team Perform other related duties as requiredWhat will I need to be successful in this role?Be a great team playerBe a progressive and creative thinkerBachelor’s degree preferredThree years of experience in programming, implementing, and oversight of activities and wellness programs for different levels of skill and cognitive abilityTwo or more years of experience in training and supervising staffExperience working with seniors preferredSpecial Requirements/Certifications:Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving recordASFA Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer preferredACSM Health/Fitness Instructor preferredCooper Research Institute Fitness and Strength Training for seniors preferredSenior Fitness Association Certification preferredFirst Aid CertificationWhat’s in it for me?
