Position SummaryThe role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines. This includes acquiring resources, planning, and maintaining software applications and operating systems as it relates to Mortgage Connect’s technical environments, which include Azure, Microsoft, .Net, and SQL Server. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle and ensure accuracy with Production requirements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTake Ownership of Project Execution from Inception to ClosureBuild, Develop, Grow Business Relationships Vital to Project SuccessAbility to work with multiple Department Leads and Line Level Users across the companyDefine Project Scope, Goals, and Deliverables to Support Business GoalsDevelop Full-Scale Project Plans and Associated Communication DocumentsIdentify/Mange Project Dependencies and Critical PathProactively Manage Changes in Project Scope, Identify Potential Crises, Devise Contingency PlansIdentify/Resolve Issues within Application Development TeamSet/Manage Project Expectations with Team MembersEstimate Resources and Participants Needed to Achieve Project GoalsPlan and Schedule Project Timelines, Using Appropriate ToolsDevelop and Deliver Progress Reports, Requirements Documentation, and PresentationsDefine Project Success Criteria and Disseminate to Involved Parties throughout Project Life CycleAdditional Duties, as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree or EquivalentTechnically Competent with Various Software Programs, 2+ years of Azure experience is requiredMust have at least 2 Years experience in either the Mortgage or Title Insurance IndustryStrong Customer Service FocusClear Verbal and Written Communication SkillsStrong Attention to DetailAbility to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and Meet DeadlinesCapability to Work both Independently and as part of a TeamProblem-Solving Mindset with Ability to MultitaskSelf-Motivated: Ability to Work with Minimal SupervisionPersuasive, Encouraging, Motivating PersonalityAbility to Learn, Understand, and Apply New TechnologiesLanguage SkillsAbility to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports, and legal documentsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business communityAbility to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and formatAbility to effectively present information to senior and executive management teams, public groups and/or boards of directorsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
