US-Ohio-BurtonThe Network Administrator II is a specialist focused in firewalls and networking, with extensive experience in a large enterprise organizations. This position must be able to isolate, resolve and follow-up with end-users within the current infrastructure and networks that have an elevated level of complexity.Responsible for core infrastructure including firewall technology and networking. Firewalls are Palo Alto - the latest generation and being installed in 2025Extensive knowledge of firewall technology (NGFW, Palo Alto preferred) as well as networkingSolid experience with selecting, maintaining, installing and upgrading firewall technologyAble to assess enterprise requirements and submit them to management for approvalKeep abreast of the latest developments in the technological arenaResponsible for hardware requirements and improving or maximizing the Information Processing Network'sperformanceManage, maintain, and administer computer networks and related computing environments and support special IT,business and MES projectsAssist with site migrations, new site acquisitions as well as site closuresInteract with internal clients and IT staff to resolve basic plant technical issues; communicate with internal clients in aprofessional manner while maintaining confidentialityTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesPerform monthly maintenance on systemsTravel to other HEXPOL locations may be requiredBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
