In this role a successful candidate will work closely with senior executives to identify data needs and produce actionable insights.Data Collection and Processing:Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external sources.Clean, organize, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.Data Analysis:Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.Use statistical methods and tools to analyze data and generate insights.Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.Present analytical findings and insights to non-technical audiences.Data Integrity and Quality Assurance:Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and validation checks.Active TS/SCI with Full Scope PolyBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related fieldProven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar roleProficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel)Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and a commitment to data accuracyPreferred QualificationsExperience working with senior executivesExperience producing briefing materials for senior executives or strategic comms backgroundAdvanced PowerPoint skillsFamiliarity with government budget process a plusFamiliarity with portfolio management a plusUSD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
