Learn more at www.cretexmedical.com.Position SummaryThe Engineering Technician Lead is a hands-on working lead responsible for coordinating and performing engineering builds, managing prototype part inventory, and ensuring that technical deliverables are completed on schedule. This role will provide day-to-day guidance, training, and support for a team of engineering technicians, helping them develop skills and meet project requirements. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working on the shop floor building assemblies as they are leading schedules, prioritizing tasks, and partnering with engineers to deliver high-quality results.Develop and maintain build schedules in collaboration with engineers and project stakeholders.Coordinate technician resources to ensure alignment with project priorities and deadlines.Act as point of contact for technicians, engineers, and other cross-functional teams during build activities.Participate in hands-on assembly, test, and troubleshooting of engineering builds.Complete disposition activities in compliance with the ERP system for engineering buildsEnsure employees are following company guidelines, policies, and procedures Act as the working lead for a team of engineering technicians, balancing hands-on build work with team coordination.Mentor, coach, and support technician skill development and career growth.Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveComplete all other work duties as assignedAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentHigh School Diploma or GED5 years of experience in manufacturing operations3 years of supervisory experience Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, equipment, and processesKnowledge of legal and regulatory requirementsAbility to manage relationships and team facilitationStrong attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks Ability to take direction from and give input to the next level leaderAbility to collaborate and assist team membersAbility to cross train in other areas of production when requiredPreferred RequirementsBusiness/technical degreeMedical manufacturing experienceFamiliar with ISO and FDA requirementsCertifications in a related fieldWhat is it like to work at Cretex Medical?We recognize the contribution of every individual and promote growth, safety and security for all our employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
