This position provides highly responsible staff support to the Engineering Manager.This role pays an annual salary of $60,000-$63,000Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays)This position will remain open until December 12, 2025.Manage overall operations and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systemsEnsure optimal performance of water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, VAV boxes, AHUs, and fan coil unitsPlan, assign, and supervise daily maintenance activitiesIntegrate Metasys BMS controls into workflow for monitoring and diagnosticsEvaluate work methods, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolutionEnsure compliance with standards set by Palm Beach CountyMaintain accurate CM and PM records in MicroMainGenerate reports on system performance using MetasysOversee HVAC and utility service setup for eventsCoordinate with concessionaires and monitor external contractors and engineersHire, train, and evaluate HVAC and maintenance staffProvide training on HVAC systems, Metasys, and facility operationsImplement disciplinary actions as neededAssist in department budget planning and monitoringManage inventory of HVAC components, supplies, and refrigerantsMaintain compliance with safety regulations and MSDS documentationEnsure adherence to HVAC-related federal, state, and local regulationsMetasys BMS Expertise: Proven ability to monitor and optimize HVAC performance using Johnson Controls MetasysHVAC System Proficiency: Skilled in commercial HVAC systems, including diagnostics and repairComputer Literacy: Strong computer skills in building management systems, CMMS software, and MS Office SuiteSystem-Wide Knowledge: Capable of handling repairs across multiple facility systems (plumbing, electrical, structure)Leadership: Demonstrated supervisory experience in fast-paced, large-scale facilities5+ years of hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, including:Water- and air-cooled chillersCooling towers, VAVs, AHUs, fan coil units2-3+ years of supervisory or lead-level experience managing staff or contractorsExtensive experience with Johnson Controls Metasys BMS (required or strongly preferred)Proficiency in building maintenance software such as MicroMain or similar CMMSExperience in high-demand facilities (e.g., convention centers, hotels, hospitals, or sports venues)Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, HVAC safety standards, and hazardous materials communication protocolsSpecialized training or certifications in HVAC or building maintenance systems preferredAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
